By default the Wikibase SPARQL endpoint (provided by Blazegraph) delivers the results in XML. The result type however can be adjusted adding an HTTP Accept header. This however makes it impossible to directly load the data into OpenRefine, without exporting the results, saving them to and loading them from to a file first, as it is not possible to adjust the Accept header in OpenRefine (see ticket https://github.com/OpenRefine/OpenRefine/issues/2104 ). This proxy allows an additional URL parameter to adjust the format (default is csv), so the data can be loaded directly into OpenRefine. Additional alternative SPARQL endpoints can be added in the php file for the proxy.
