    The formatting holds to the W3C DateTime format (https://www.w3.org/TR/NOTE-datetime) with the exception, that the time zone designator can be omitted (though it is highly recommended). Dates that can not be properly mapped to this format due to potential ambiguities or missing information (e.g. indistinguishable writings) need to be mapped to abcd:VerbatimDate. (English)
